My mission
To guide and support professional women and entrepreneurs in their ongoing effort to strike the appropriate balance for achieving the success, happiness and fulfillment they desire in their professional lives, through innovative coaching and consulting services designed with a strong emphasis on measurable results.
How I got into coaching
Some people are thrust into what they do for a living because of outside influences and are stuck doing that for the rest of their lives, regardless of their inherent talents doing something completely different.
Not the case with me. Even in my young adulthood, people would approach me wondering how I’m able to generate such phenomenal results and confidence for myself, with little stress and in record time. Much like the magician who can seemingly levitate effortlessly, as if it were a natural occurrence instead of the result of years of practice and hard work.
I cut my teeth in the Technology and Human Resources fields, solve problems, managing projects, and developing training and development programs for a Fortune 500 company. Looking back on it now, I realized that every job I had, even my waitressing positions, I was always the trainer and I possessed the unique ability to make informed decisions, find the right tools and resources, develop plans, and implement the exact goals needed to achieve the desired results faster and with less stress.
Whether it was software or hardware, process creation, removing an obstacle, solving interpersonal employee issues or helping leaders face the behaviors that were sabotaging their results, I was able to step in and provide workable solutions quickly.
Why I choose to work with you
I bring a lot to the table as a woman who has experienced similar work/life challenges. I am a business owner and I've been the leader of a team in an organization. I have walked in your shoes and I have an uncanny ability to always see the most positive outcomes, to come up with the most creative solutions and to see problems coming ahead of time.
These skills and gifts of mine are something I want to share with the professional women of the world. It’s my calling. My opportunity to help you to become all that you can be in your career and business with less unneeded stress and more courage and confidence than you ever thought possible.
My values, beliefs and philosophy
I believe it’s our natural born right to live to our fullest potential, and it drives me nuts when I see millions of women in this world simply living out their lives, having abandoned or permanently tucked away their most treasured dreams and career goals forever, simply because they lack the time, the energy, the motivation and the core beliefs to attain them.
It’s my job, my duty, to help as many people as I can to rise up and see their future through a different lens. To step back and gaze at their potential in a more thoughtful, calm manner, free of distractions, obstacles and negativity that can infect their most passionate ambitions. Your business and career growth can come to you easier and faster than you think.
Education/Training/Schools/Associations and Credential
I attended and was certified by the Center for Coach Training in Portland, Oregon. I’m also a qualified Myers-Briggs Type Indicator facilitator. I am a proud member of BNI - Business Network International, International Coach Federation, and Northwest Coaches Association. I am a Founding Coach with the Compass Coaching Network.
I love to sing.
My hobbies
One of my big passions is my love of music and performing. In addition to being a competitive tap dancer in my youth, I am now in 3 bands and am quite active in my Portland music scene.
I love technology and am a big fan of social networking as a method to stay in touch with people. Deanna has helped me to grow my business 600% in 6 months!Before working with Deanna, I was not acting like a business owner. Now I have my own practice, where I am not just another employee; I am the owner. I'm also teaching massage to aspiring massage therapists. I have the energy and money to invest in my business. I have a lot more opportunity. There is so much more momentum building. I feel like a business owner and I'm confident when talking about MY business.

I have more control of my lifeWhen I started working with Deanna I was over a year into my new business and was ready to quit struggling with day to day operations and look at the bigger picture.
